Digital transfer printing
Transfer Printing is the method used to transfer a design from one surface to another, typically used for branding clothing. It is one of the best techniques for achieving complex full-colour prints as it is extremely cost effective on smaller print runs. The machinery is relatively inexpensive, and the fact that you don’t need to produce print screens, ensure that this is a branding method that will not break the bank!
Your design is typically digitally printed onto a special heat transfer paper, cut to shape and applied via heated press onto the garment.
Due to the heat process, this branding method does have its limitations however. Garments that are sensitive to high temperatures such as fleeces, high visibility jackets or wick away running vests are not suitable for this type of branding.
